5 Easy, Healthy, And Super Delicious Dairy Free Ice Cream Recipes

Ice Cream Time!

Lately, I have been experimenting with healthy versions of those sweet and refreshing treats. No sugar, gluten, soy, or dairy involved… so stop feeling guilty and try one of my favorite recipes to satisfy your sweet tooth.

Here are my favorite dairy free ice cream recipes.

 1. Minty Coconut Pineapple Sorbet

Combine all ingredients in a high-speed blender. Blend until sorbet-like texture. Serve immediately. Enjoy!

 2. Avocado Chocolate Chip Ice Cream

Avocados are one of my favorite foods… a few days ago I made avocado ice cream for the first time, and I loved it. If you are an avocado lover, just like us… click here for more healthy avocado recipes.

Blend all ingredients except the chocolate chips in a food processor or high-speed blender until smooth. Pour the mixture into a container and add the chocolate chips. Let set in the freezer for 3-4 hours.

Looking for a decent, professional heavy-duty blender, but can’t afford an expensive Vitamix or Blendtec? I  found a much better solution that is ONLY HALF the price and AS GOOD. Click here for more info.

3. Chocolate Banana Ice Cream Topped With Fresh Raspberries

  • 2 bananas, peeled, sliced, and frozen
  • 2 tablespoons raw cacao powder
  • 2 tablespoons almond butter
  • Fresh raspberries
  • Chocolate chips (optional)

Blend all ingredients until smooth. Top with raspberries and chocolate chips! Enjoy.

 4. Pina Colada Ice Cream

  • 1 ½ cup unsweetened coconut milk
  • ¼ cup raw honey
  • 1 cup freshly chopped pineapple
  • Toasted coconut flakes (Topping)
  • ¼ teaspoon rum extract (optimal)

Blend coconut milk, honey, rum extract, and ½ cup pineapple in a blender or food processor until smooth. Briefly blend remaining pineapple until chunky texture (If you don’t like it chunky, blend all pineapple chunks in the first step). Place in the ice-cream maker or in the freezer and stir every 20 minutes until hardened. Top with toasted coconut flakes before serving.

 5. Green Smoothie Ice Cream

I love green smoothies so much that I tried to make a green smoothie ice cream. It came out surprisingly tasty. Think I might try to turn more of my favorite green smoothie recipes into ice cream. Click here to claim my free green smoothie eBook.

  1. Thank you soooo much for these recipes. I am pre-diabetes and fibromyalgia and gluten intolerant and miss ice cream so much. I used to make a smoothie out of frozen fruit and cannot do that anymore as too much fruit but if I put a veg. in it or protein in it I can usually tolerate it. Have to keep the sugar down. I know I will love these and still have to tweek them a little for my own health. I am already signed up for the newsletter. Bless you.
